THE STEEL YARD RETURNS TO LIVERPOOL

Creamfield’s monster ‘Steel Yard’ structure returns to Liverpool this November. The central dock at Liverpool waters will host the events on Saturday 18th, Friday 24th and Saturday 25th. The last time the Steel Yard made it’s way Liverpool, EDM royalty Axwell ^ Ingrosso lit up the stage following massive sets from the likes of Martin Solveig, Danny Howard and Third Party. Other acts that have played the Steel Yard include Don Diablo, Faithless, Eric Prydz and Chase & Status.

So what is the Steel Yard? Debuting at Creamfields 2016, the giant cage boasted a 20,000 capacity made from 5 kilometres of steel, featuring 400 lights and over a square kilometre of LED screens. The same structure was used for Liverpool and London’s events but there’s every chance that Cream could be upping the game even more for this November’s outing.

The headliners for this year’s Scouse sessions have now been revealed. The legendary Armin Van Buuren will take the stage to deliver A State Of Trance on Saturday 19th while EDM phenomenom Martin Garrix will deliver his signature big room house anthems the following Saturday.

On top of these events Cream has recently announced Cream Classical will take place on Friday 24th. Cream’s Philharmonic Orchestra will be performing a selection of Cream’s classics curated by K-Klass in what should be a breathtaking production. On top of that, Faithless returns with a DJ set, alongside Tall Paul, Danny Rampling and more to be announced.
